When Dippin’ Dots found itself on the receiving end of President Trump’s Press Secretary Sean Spicer’s twitter rants about how it was NOT the ice cream of the future, we used this somewhat absurd news story to not only offer some lightness during a period of political heaviness, but to cast the Dippin’ Dots brand as friendly, patriotic, and fun by offering the White House an old fashioned ice cream social. Without a dime spent on paid advertising, we earned them more coverage than a Super Bowl ad.
